John Allen is a co-owner and serves as Vice-President of the firm

He is responsible for all administrative aspects of your project and his expertise will be available to you from the day of interview through the end of the warranty period and beyond.

John Allen started in the construction industry in 1983 and founded Allen+Batchelor Construction with deVane Batchelor in 1998. During his career Mr. Allen has worked both in the office and out in the field starting as laborer moving to carpenter’s helper, surveyor, field engineer, estimator, assistant project manager, project manager, senior project manager and vice-president. It is this bottom up “real world” construction experience and his work ethic, which sets Mr. Allen apart.

Born and raised in Evans, Georgia, John received a Batchelor of Science degree in Building Construction, minoring in Business, from Auburn University. Prior to joining Allen+Batchelor, John worked with a large Atlanta general contractor and another mid sized local general contractor on a host of varied construction projects.

John has been involved with, managed and estimated projects that range from a few thousand to over $25,000,000. Mr. Allen is very hands on, deeply involved and committed to his client’s success and satisfaction.

John resides with his wife and daughter in Evans, Ga and is a member of Stevens Creek Community Church. He is a board member for the Columbia County Youth Leadership Program and is the Secretary for the Coalition For Quality Government in Columbia County.  He is also a graduate of Leadership Columbia County.  John is a past member of the Trinity Hospital Board of Directors and the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Board. He enjoys boating, hunting, and golf.
