Project Details
Established at Augusta University Healthcare, Inc. in 1995, the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency Act – or CARE Act – serves people living with HIV/AIDS. The Moore Building is a vital new addition to the program allowing state of the art care to a larger community of patients.
Allen+Batchelor was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk on this Project. A unique challenge of this project was to remediate unsuitable soils during a heavy rain season while managing water and protecting subgrades. This was accomplished through careful planning and execution. This important addition to AU was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, providing significant value to the owner.
