Stokes-Hodges Kia

Project Details

Stokes-Hodges Kia is a two-story 43,000-square-foot car dealership for a repeat client. The exterior consists of glass, EIFS, and ACM metal panels.  The interior is comprised of glass partitions, drywall partitions, tile floors, a large showroom, and 25 varying service bays. It’s a mostly structured steel building with some load-bearing masonry walls. This project includes underground infrastructure for different types of equipment in the service bays, including, alignment machines, tower lifts, in-ground lifts, pit drains, and trench drains. Our construction team worked closely with the owner’s vendors throughout construction to ensure the building construction coordinated with all of the owner-furnished service bay equipment and Kia-specific items.

This project is unique in that it was the first ground-up KIA built in the USA with the new KIA image and brand standards. This means that our team had to navigate and problem-solve lots of construction details and supply chain challenges associated with a prototype.
