Project Details
It was an honored to construct a 11,500-square-foot Fellowship Hall for Second Providence Baptist Church, a prestigious congregation in North Augusta, SC. Through meticulous value engineering during the selection and preconstruction phases, A+B successfully reduced the project budget, ensuring it aligned with the church’s financial plan all while still meeting their facility needs.
This project was particularly notable as it required us to keep the existing sanctuary operational throughout construction, given the new addition’s connection to an existing hallway. The fellowship hall features a spacious gathering area with breakout rooms for various functions, complemented by a stunning courtyard that serves as a serene outdoor gathering space. Additionally, the new facility includes a stage, a large parking lot and necessary prep work to plan for a future commercial kitchen.
