Church of the Good Shepherd

Project Details

This project was an extensive renovation and addition to the existing church facilities. This project features several unique finishes. these include cast stone, slate floors, extensive woodwork throughout, sand blasted masonry to resemble stone, and an intricate brick veneer. New and refurbished spaces include a parish hall, commercial kitchen, classrooms, a business office, chapel, bell tower, and sanctuary overflow seating fully equipped with audio and visual equipment.

This project had several unique challenges which Allen+Batchelor successfully overcame. These challenges included 1) a child pickup/drop off car line which ran through the middle of the job site to the adjacent private school 3 times each day and 2) a bell tower which contained cellular phone antennas and communication cabling and equipment.

"Having worked with the people at Allen-Batchelor Construction on several projects, I am impressed by the quality of their work, their cooperative spirit and their efforts to please the owner."
