Batchelor Construction was founded by deVane Batchelor in March of 1994 in Augusta, Georgia.  John Allen joined the company in March of 1998, and the company name was changed to Allen+Batchelor Construction (A+B).

Over the years A+B has successfully completed many projects in and around the Augusta area and has developed a systematic approach to project delivery.   The vast majority of our work, 89%, is either Design-Build or Construction Management at Risk form of project delivery.  A+B has completed thirty-six (36) projects from 2006 through 2011 that were either Design-Build or Construction Management at Risk.  On all of these thirty-six (36) projects we provided pre-construction services during the design process in an effort to help steer the design, make sure the client was gaining the best value, ensure that the final design was within the client’s budget, and to expedite construction.  Through this vast experience, A+B has acquired significant knowledge in various building types and systems.
